I'm as liberal as they come but even I know that just because it isn't on the nightly news that doesn't mean there aren't people out looking for Osama.
We might have had a better chance getting him if we wern't bogged down in Iraq, however.

Aside from your ideas about Saddam being a progressive anything, Bush needed to catch a break. Osama and Mullah are most likely sitting in the border areas of Pakistan, where the Pakistani army doesn't even like to be. Saddam was the most recognizable sunni in a shi'a country. Its a high percentage shot.

Osama and Mullah Omar have been contained. IMHO, Osama is dead. He probably died mid 2006 due to kidney failure. They are now useless for the time being.
Saddam isn't what you think he was. He DID have links to terror in that there were Al Qaida camps in Iraq, Abu Nidal lived under his protection and he was actively recruiting to support other Sunni terror groups. He was NOT a progressive Muslim, he was a FAKE Muslim. His only religion was the Ba'athist Party he led. Saddam saw himself as the next Nebuchaneezer. It shows in all the archecture, here. He wanted all people to worship HIM.
Saddam was a murderer, rapist, thug, and rather unpleasant fellow.

The war on Iraq was no way related to the WTC and its destruction. Americans needed a reason to attack Iraq so that its oil can be manupulated by them. They just gave a bull **** reason of weapons of mass destruction and attacked them for now joy, and now killed Iraq and turned it to another post Russial Afghanistan.
This was was not only unjust by a crime agaist humanity. Though Saddam killed a lot of people, but he didnt kill any american. Whoever he killed was Iraq's own problem and american didnt have any right or intrest in ruining a nation for some crime happened decades ago.
This was all about the OIL which Iraq have and nothing else.

Saddam chose to attack Kuwait, where America had a major interest. It was an affront to America. After the Kwait war, America had reason to believe that Saddam, if left unchecked, will prove to be a thorn in their flesh. Saddam's exit does not indicate that Bush had forgotten Osama. America never forgets and forgive.

If you do a little study you will find that during Desert Storm when his daddy invaded Iraq, Saddam set fire to the then Bush held mineral rights on oil wells in the region. These are oil wells that daddy Bush bought through the sanction of Saddam himself. They are now in others name so they can't be traced to the Bush family. Anyway, daddy vowed to get even with Saddam for doing this. He did! 3000 of our soldiers died so Bush could get even with Hussein. This President should be impeached more than any President ever in the past. No, I'm not some radical spouting lies about the man. This is all fact...

His work with Saddam is over and Saddam's continuation may challenge his evil attempts to gain upper hand in the middle-east.

I do believe that CIA and Mossad are involved in bombing WTC since Osama also is virtual CIA agent.
But Bush denied that and blamed all destruction done by muslim terrorist. The casualties of 108,000 of muslim around the world is paid by 3,000 WTC in NY. Where the justice today???? The corps of USA and Israel is valuable than muslim lives.
Israel is making move rapidly using such manipulation to push harder on Hamas as terrorist and indeed the UN agrees on that.

I remember a cop stopping my BF for speeding as he raced 2 other cars. My BF said' Hey those others were racing as well" the cop said 'I'll get them later, I have you now" Sadddam had the best ability to get WMD's into Osamas hands.

You made a good point..unfortunately Bush supporters will have you think differently...There should be an investigation into this fact..Right now he has depleted our military with the senseless Iraq conflict.perhaps we will find out that oil has taken priority over finding the men who have attacked us !
