Why are scorpio's the most misunderstood sign.?

Scorpios are never fake. They are definetly misunderstood.They don't feel the need to show off and be artificial to others like how many people can get.Usually what happens is that people feel very jealous of Scorpios and in that jealousy they try to make them look bad and since they are shy,nervous and cannot bring their warmer side out,evil people take advantage of that.

Scorpios may be revengeful,I don't know any who is but I haven't met the whole world..but even if someone has really done bad with them,they will still help that person if they can when that person needs it.. If you want examples there was Eva Pigford in Cycle 3 of America's next top model and she was a scorpio too. She was such a great and original person and if you notice the girls either envied her or misunderstood her..

I'm a scorpio...and I would have to say misconceptions and misunderstandings..are a big issue...perhaps because Scorpios have this tendency to be rather callous on the outside but extremely emotional inside...also...Scorpios..as well as myself...have a bad habit of being decietful...even in little ways...and they are stubborn. All of this pretty much forms a pretty hard, cold-hearted shell around a very compassionate person. But the good thing is...that most Scorpios will do anything for a lover or a friend...and they are very strong people...I guess you could say they are pretty much the darker side of the zodiac.

By the way...A Scorpio and an Aries is a match made in hell.

Well, of course there are a lot of wonderful Scorpios. My mom is a Scorpio and she's a very sweet lady. But I have observed as have many, many others that there is potential for difficulty with some Scorpios: sexual obsessiveness and problems with anger being two issues I've dealt with in relationship with Scorpios.

I love the comment about reaching for the eagle as a Scorpio. Scorpios do often have a potential for spiritual development which can be inspiring.

Being a water sign and as the saying goes 'still waters run deep', but they only project the stillness to the outside world. The depth is not visible. People feel they hide their true feelings and a lot of such things.

I think we're just complex people and there are a lot of notions running around that aren't completely untrue, but that don't tell the whole story.
Scorpios may be secretive and stubborn and we may exact revenge when it's called for. But we love deep and are willing to do anything for those we love and let into our lives. And we're comfortable with our sexuality without being obesessed with it.
We try to figure out the motives of others while keeping our own hidden and I guess people just try to fill in the blanks sometimes.

I would not say that Scorpios are the most misunderstood. They do have a secretive personality but often it's not a terribly complex one. I think they would like to think they're misunderstood, but in reality, they're easier to read than they think.

I would consider the most misunderstood signs to be Cancer and Capricorn. While Cancers are thought of as wimpy and somewhat traditional, most of the Cancers I know, including myself, are quite assertive and free-thinking. Also, Capricorn is supposed to be so intellectual and stubborn, but I find that most Capricorns are somewhat lazy and complacent (with only one notable exception).

You know half the problem is that Scorpio's are so well at hiding their feelings.. that people have to guess.. And well when it comes to sex.
