The first Premiership season saw Norwich City well clear of everyone at Xmas and Manchester United went on to win it with Norwich finishing third behind Aston Villa. We never have been up there since! A mad keen Canary fan to the end, one day our time will come again

Since the Premiership began there have only been three occasions where the team top at Christmas has gone on to win the title. These were Man U (2000/2001) and both of Chelsea's titles (04/05 and 05/06)

Wrong above, Liverpool were top one year and lost it, as were Manchester United and Arsenal.
