i mean... not the cover, something to put inside apart from daily events.. wt i do is after every entry, i write a thought and decorate it. in the beginning of the diary i made a time capsule.. can any1 gimme some creative ideas like that?

You could add a small, regular caricature in the bottom corner to represent your general mood, so that you can flick back through it later and see how you were feeling.

10 minutes of 'stream of consciousness' writing...set a timer and just write anything that comes to mind....don't edit it....you'll get a fascinating snap-shot of the workings of your mind, and it is great for freeing up the creative process
