I agree with liwaydano. Unlike most girls we don't like attention from guys unless it's someone we're personally into. I get so irritated and bitchy when I go to the gas station or grocery store and some random guy hits on me. In your situation though, I would probably beat around the bush a little but I would gradually tell you the truth. I hate confrontation so hurting a guy's feelings that's a friend would be very very hard. Like I said earlier, if it's some random guy I have no problem telling him to f@ck off, but if it's someone I care about I would be as gentle as I possibly could with their feelings. If this girl starts acting moody around you though that means that you just need to move on. That means she feels smothered or like her freedom may become compromised. If she's avoiding the subject but is still friendly to you that just means that she's building up the courage to tell you how she feels, she doesn't want to hurt your feelings so it make take longer to come out. Hope this helped =)

I work in a restaurant and I had a regular customer who was very much in love with me and everyone knew that.
At the beginning I just tried to be kind but detached but at the end it went to the point that I had to take him aside and tell him straight that there is no chance. I don't beat around the bush - as an aquarian girl if I would like someone back he would have already noticed I dont need to be lovestarred at from guys I have no interest in whatsoever.
So usually I end up to have to teach guys respect and to back off - hope this doesnt sound too bitchy... LOL :-))

pretending that you don't notice him will not help. he'll make himself more recognizable. i'll tell him straight up to back off and leave me alone, i don't care how much i appreciate him. i'll most appreciate him leaving me alone. one should leave one alone when their feelings are not reciprocated.
