Our mother was born with a slight birth defect, low IQ, disfiguring birthmarks, with some fingers and toes missing nails, and two are webbed.
We are three siblings all over 35. All of us are normal in appearance and IQ but none of us have been able to reproduce. Is there some connection?

There is possibly a connection. Are your siblings all female? Did your mother take DES while pregnant? (DES was a medication in the 1960's-1970's that was thought to prevent miscarriage. It actually created reproductive problems for the female offspring of the users, rendering many of them incapable of having children. It has since been banned for use in pregnant women.)
Other than that, all three of you will have to go to fertility specialists to find out the root of your fertility problems and if there is any connection.

No. Each individual is different. Have you check with your doctors on why you and your siblings are unable to conceive? It could be (coindidentally) due to your respective husband's low sperm count. That is a possibility. Check it out!
