If you do don't you feel too hot in them when it's about 70F in a room? Do you take them off when you are sitting for a long time in a heated room and put them on when you go outside or do you have them on the whole time?

I consider pantyhose a mandatory part of my professional attire year round, including all of my slacks and trouser suits. Naturally in colder weather I tend to wear slacks more often, and I've always got my pantyhose on under them.
I also enjoy many outdoor activities in the winter such as snowmobiling and skiing, and I'll always wear a pair of pantyhose or opaque tights under my jeans or ski pants as an extra layer against the cold.
Honestly, the only time I've found wearing pantyhose under my slacks uncomfortable is when I have to be outside on the hotter and more humid days of the summer months.

Yes I wear pantyhose under pants in the winter and in the summer as well. I've had to take them off because it was too hot only once when the A/C in the office failed.

Longer skirts and maybe carry around a blanket. You may try letting her feel the cold weather in a skirt and when she complains of being cold, tell her she should wear warm leggings or a nice warm pair of pants. Keep connecting warm with the types of clothing that will keep her warm. Use phrases like, "Maybe you would like to wear some warm leggings." Or "Why don't we take off this cold skirt and put on some warm pants." But she should first feel that its cold. If shes inside where the skirt is comfortable to her, she will assume she will also be comfortable in it outdoors.

Yes I do. I'm wearing them right now!
When I wear them I don't wear boxers/briefs or any other underwear. I skip the socks too.

If it's just cold, I wear matching pantyhose (black with black shoes or black sneakers for example). If it's colder, thicker tights.
If they have patterns they just look like regular sheer socks.

But I don't wear them while I'm sleeping. That's when one gets very warm and uncomfortable.

I think more and more men are starting to wear them. That's very cool!

There is no reason not to wear them year round. They may create a little more heat on the legs, but wear thin sheer hose and thin paints. The feel and comfort is still great. Besides, it doesn't matter what works for others, it is what works for you that counts.

I wear pantyhose every single day under anything and everything. Hosiery not only offers great looks, but good comfort and support too. The only time I am not wearing them is if I am changing them or shaving my legs. :-)

I wear them under my pants year 'round. I personally do not find that they make me feel any more uncomfortable than I would without. They do add extra layer (of warmth), but they also prevent your pants from clinging to your skin if you do begin to perspire a bit.
