Hi all.
I would appreciate if you give me some kind of advise, because it’s is driving me crazy.
The thing is that I had my ultrasound examination on uterus and it showed that I have a 4 mm polypus in my uterus. I went to my gynecologist but unfortunately she will be out of town for a couple of days and it is bothering me so much. I hope it’s not a cancer.
Please let me know if you have had any experience about this situation. Can it be dangerous?
I just need some information until my gynecologist gets back, because it is driving me crazy.
I’m looking forward to your answers

i had 12 polyps removed from my uterus and all were benign. usually they are not cancerous. i had precancerous cells in my lining but that was due to not menustrating for years. do you have other issues? most polyps or fibroids tend not to be cancerous. with the precancerous cells and every other month biopsies i've found it best not to worry until you're told to worry. hard to do i know, but take a deep breath. and just one polyp in your lining is not that abnormal usually.

Unfortunately none of us are going to be able to tell you with any certainty what is going on. It could be many things... not necessarily cancer. You could have a fibroid, a cyst, a benign (non-cancerous) growth... a multitude of things. Try not to stress until you hear from your gyno.

Unless the growth is being examined by one with medical expertise, I'm afraid we won't be in a position to advise if the growth is malign. I suggest you learn to relax. You may be over reacting unnecessarily. Stress may make the growth worst. Don't think too much about it.

I was recently diagnosed with two small fibroids and the dr. said that they are not cancerous and that dependng on the size, it can or cant have an effect on someone from getting pregnant.
