well.. I'm italian and I'm having a lot of prejudice about myself!
seriously... if you expect we're like the US people, you are completely wrong! But Italy is not only the tipical stuff you see in the movies (mafia thing, pizza, latin lovers and so on..): there's a very, very different culture behind us, a great empire that conquered a large part of Europe that lasted for a millennium, fights, religion, arts. we're an old country, just like the others in europe: France, UK, Greece...there's no way we can compare our 2 different cultures! we have wrong ideas about you too!! bye

The best of everything is Italian actually :
History: Roman empire
Cars: Ferrari , lamborghini, Maserati
Fashion: Armani , Gucci , Versace , Zegna , Ferragamo
Food : pasta , pizza, lasagne
Music: 70% of operas were written in Italian
Language: best sounding/musical one , hence the operas
Artists : Da Vinci, Michelangelo
Scientits: Da Vinci , Gallileo , Fermi
Soccer: Champions of the world until 2010 , their 4th crown
Cities: Rome, Florence , Venice
People: Good looking and hot blooded
AND I AM NOT ITALIAN!!!

I dig Italian cuisine. The northern Italians are kind,caring people. As for the ones from southern Italy who regard themselves a touch differently, I'll be glad to give them the proverbial FACIAL.

I think they are very artistic, talented, industrious and know how to enjoy life. Their language is very beautiful and melodic and very rich and expressive.
