each nail polish brand and colour has a mixture of different ingredients. so theres are too many to name, as for the smell i agree it smells so bad and strong, its got something to do with the high octane acids.

Nail polishes today are made of nitrocellulose dissolved in a solvent and either left clear or colored with various pigments.

The polish we use today can give its thanks to the car industry. Today's polish is a refined version of car paint.

Thus is also why it smells as it does.

I DONT KNOW WAT BRAND R U USING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BUT NAIL POLISH DOESN'T SMELL BAD.
