If true, the Sasquatch is a species rather than a single entity. With the encroachment of civilization into wildlands more sightings are bound to occur. However this also means that the territory needed for sustaining a population is being reduced. And since Canada's developement has all but ground to a halt there is more wilderness ofr the Sasquatch to colonize. Canada would also be a better environment becuse they need something to cover the smell of the snooty french.

I think Sasquatch has a summer home in Canada, but spends winters in the US b/c its not as cold.
