It seems that it means "to uncover, to reveal."

Apocalypse is the final destuction of the world as described in the biblical book of Revelation. In modern greek also it means "uncover, reveal". Apocalypto in this case is the verb in first person meaning "I uncover or reveal" or if you prefer "I destroy the world" although this is not correct :)

It is a play on the word [concept] 'apocalypse.'
