In Mahabharat there is a character Karna. He is put to shame by many, though he is not at fault. He takes it all in his stride. He was a better archer than Arjuna, but he did not kill him becuse by the time his arrow would have struck Arjun it would have been sunset.

Though not an analogy, Ganguly has been ridiculed by third rate retired players like Kiran More, by Greg Chapel, by Sachin, by Dravid. He has taken it all in his stride. When he is the captain on the field, he is all exuberance, all agile, unlike the nervous nail chewing Dravid, who is clueless and helpless when the chips are down. I am all for Ganguly.

Ganguly is going through a recovery stage and so I think he should remain in the team as a vice captain only so that he can play his normal game without tension and at the same time provide necessary advices to the captain

Presently Ganguly is happy to be in the team as a Player. Hence he should be in the team only as a player. It will be totally unfair and injustice to remove Dravid from Captaincy when World Cup only couple of months away.

Ganguly is a great team man, so there is no rule that he should be made captain. If he plays well then he will defenitely be in the team as a player but not as a captain.

I do not think that Ganguly be made captain of team India.

Since there shuld be consistency for captainship also.

india is playing good (though not to the mark) under Dravid's captancy so now we shuld not implement change in capatancy.

His advice can be taken care of

I do not think Ganguly himself would believe such a thing to happen. He should thank his stars for having found a berth in the team. I think, the system should accommodate more and more talents to find a berth in the team, automatically, without any god father in the management.
