It could also mean that marriage is something that is special and that you love the person. I know this is old fashioned but there you go.

Nope. Not always true. Plenty of married couples sleep in seperate rooms because of snoring and other sleeping disorders. You do know people sleep in beds right? That is what you meant?

Mine goes away sometimes...for work, but he will be gone for at least a week. So my 2yr old son sleeps in bed with me while his Daddy is away. That is always nice. But, for such a little kid, he can certainly take up a lot of space!!!!

nope been married 42 1/2 yrs and sleep in different rooms because she likes to read and i can't sleep with the light on and i sleep with a 12 in fan blowing on me and only a sheet on me when we sleeprd together she was like an electric blanket next to me and i hated it i sleep better when my temp drops to 96 degrees

Depends on the condition of the marriage at any given point in time...sometimes you can feel more alone when they're right next to you than if you're in bed alone physically.
