I have a knot near my hip and my mom says its probably a limphnoid. What could cause this??

IT COULD BE A FATTY TISSUE. IT IS LIKE A LUMP UNDER THE SKIN AND ITS SIZE CAN VARY. IT'S NOT DANGEROUS. IT SHOULDN'T BE PAINFUL EITHER. YOU BETTER GET IT CHECKED.

Depends how long its been there and is it shrinking. Limphnoid is pretty much just fluid usually from an infection and will subside in a short while. Other wise it could be a hernia. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets painful or doesn't go down, go see a doc

I would go to your Doctor an have a biopsy taken and see if its cancerous or not.

It may be a malign tumor, (not cancerous, but still growing), and you "will" want to have it checked out promptly
