Your right. Our society does have it backwards.

Has more to do with the de-evolution of American society.

We're getting dumber all the time. Just look at SAT scores. Try to find a high school student who has read a book in the past 6 months.

So, the adrenaline pump is king. Sports. Blood. Conflict.

This has all happened before. The people discovered they could vote themselves, "Bread and Circuses" from the public treasury - and Rome fell. Today it's social welfare ($9 trillion in borrowing and $44 trillion in uncovered obligations) and sports.

Just stick around. In 20 years, everyone will be broke... except for the fat cats who are manipulating the system. They'll either be running plantations or strung up by the mob.

Because that 40 million is an investment. The football team sells out 90,000 seats every week. Not including all the food, drinks, parking, uniform sales, etc. There is a lot of money being made by colleges from athletes.. billions of dollars as a whole. Which is why coachs get paid so much money. Because there success brings much more money into the college.

It tells you to get a degree in something that pays. I can't believe people still pursue liberal arts in school. What a joke.
