Haha. Then do you find it strange the Japanese have the whole world wrapped around its fingers and has captivated such a large audience?
Well, depending on your interests, you have find the right one. There's different types for different people. Sometimes however, a story will drag for so long, it will indeed become boring. It's the way it takes 50 chapters or episodes (exaggeration...) just for one battle to finish. Try reading manga. It has more depth if you like analyzing. A lot of the good ones aren't stupid and have creative themes to watch out for. Some are just simply amusing. If you likes battles, read Bleach (and if you want to watch it, just watch up to the part where the Rukia story ends, the next season is boring) and try reading Naruto, although, you might actually grow out of that eventually.
Something that's interesting up until the character "L" dies is Death Note. One Piece you have to read from the start, but still very amusing nonetheless.
For Romance titles, check out Fruits Basket or Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. The latter has a lot of action involved in it too.
For something that is hilarious but combined with romance is Ouran High School Host Club.

boredom is to the eye of the beholder really. Your boredom could be someone else's entertainment. But enough of the crappy wisdom sentences.
Anime is a wonderfull thing. It can be confusing. It can be boring. It can even be exciting and wonderfull. You just havent watched the right anime show to entertain you. I do admit, i have watched alot of it for sometime and many shows have really been quite boring lately indeed. But I still keep on watching. Hoping to find something interesting. I suggest you do the same thing. Unless, you're just saying it in a way to bash anime altogether. Because even though Japanese Cartoons would still be the word for it. Only noobs say it.

are u from indonesia? u spelling is wrong!! its not japanese cartoons, it is anime!! ANIME is japanese animations (find the full definitions at wikipedia)
Now anime is the most popular in the world (i think). its not so boring!! it was really fun. It has great storyline, handsome character XD...
