female animals do have periods-but a women's period comes from tissue and blood blocking up on the sides of the uterus walls, and the two eggs that come in-if they aren't fertilized-they have nowhere to go-so if u aren't preggy-the blood goes out of ur vagina and that causes ur period.

For about 28 days your uterus creates a lining inside to protect a baby if you should get pregnant and then if you don't get pregnant that month, your body sheds the lining. That is what is coming out of you during your period. Yes animals have periods too.

Women get periods cuz it human nature..and yes i believe animals have periods also..my girl cat gets it..

All mammals have periods. That´s where the term "in heat" comes from. When a dog or cat is in heat it has its period.

we have periods to get rid of any extra eggs that were not fertalized. yes, animals have periods, think of chickens. why do you think that they lay eggs even if not fertalized?

its how we have a baby!!
if we didnt, the human race would go extinct!
its the same as with animals (mammals).
except they just lick it or whatever.

All female mammals have the period. its their time to be fertilized.
