I cried!!! I was so happy!! I had been calling the clinic to try and get my results and every time I called, the right people weren't in the office. Then finally they called me back and said the test was positive!!! I started crying on the phone and the lady asked if this was a good thing. I could barely talk because of crying and I muttered 'yes' to her. My husband walked in and we just cried together for about 5 minutes!! I was about 6 or 7 weeks pregnant. Still very, very early; but we went ahead and told everyone!! They were all so happy, especially my in-laws because this is their first grandchild. My parents were also very happy, but this is their 22nd grandchild (I have a really large family). Now our little boy will be here is just a couple of weeks!!

Good question. I have three children, and only one of them we actually planned for. The first time I found out I was pregnant, she was not planned, but I was over the moon, carrying life inside you is a very special thing and I felt blesses. My second pregnancy was planned, but when I actually found out I was pregnant I went into shock as it happened in the first month, then I wondered "Have we made the right choose to have another baby now". It took me a while to get use to it, but I think if you have had a baby before, you know what to expect, and remember the pain of the labour so your a bit more nervous. My third pregnancy was unplanned, and was a shock as we had been so careful, but after the initial shock I felt blesses because I already had two perfect healthy children, and to be blessed with another when some women cant have any, even though we had been careful, was really special.

I was in shock really. It had taken 4 years for my husband and I to get pregnant with our first child. This second time (I'm 28 weeks pregnant right now), it only took us a month! Both my husband and I couldn't believe it. We even called the doctor back to verify the results of the blood test (LOL)! After the initial shock was over, of course I was excited, nervous, etc. -- pretty much feeling a little bit of everything.

Could me and my honey afford to support/raise this child financially/responsibly? - It's a big decision to have kids. You need money to support them, insurance, a good paying job. You can't get rid of them you got to make sure you're emotionally and financially ready to take on a family. You lose freedoms as well - no going out, out to dinner or a movie, the first year or so you have a few hours of sleep, vacations are a litttle harder to do since you have a small child...

Scared then Happy. The reason i felt that way is because I was still living at home. Wasn't married yet. We had been engaged for 9mo. Didn't know how are families would react.
