Well if the definition of "spiritual" perception is "every perception that's NOT the result of a physical sensation (see, hear, touch, taste, smell) then I'd say spiritual perception is an order of magnitude ahead of physical perception.
Just think about it. See...that's a "non-physical perception", right?
Every original thought is "spiritual". It comes from within and has as it's foundation our unique and innate ability to "think about things". There is no transfer of energy, no measurable depletion of one thing balanced by a change in something else. It's a spontaneous creation rooted in the spiritual mystery of our human capabilities.

Personally speaking I percieve both from a spiritual vantage point. And I have developed this perception from a very young age, due to necessity. I have been seeing 'spirits' since as long as i can recall. And by 12 or so I was keenly aware that most others DO NOT see or hear what I do....

I think I'm pretty much even on that scale.
I'm very much a hedonist and also very spiritual; I enjoy and appreciate life from both viewpoints.
