Yes, it was originally released as a black and white film. It may have been digitally colorized since it's initial release.

It's a Black and White movie except for the opening and closing scenes. There is also a small child in one of the scenes that is wearing a red coat. The coat is in color, as well.

Yes it is black and white apart from the candels at the begining and the little girl in red who turns up occasionally to give you a focus on a single stranger amongst all the killing.

The original is, but don't let that fool you, it is an excellent movie about a subject that needs to be known. It is so well made that the black and white ceases to be an issue.

Yup...but in the first scene of the movie..there's actually color..and in the course of the movie, you can see a girl in a Red dress...I think it's not really black and white but they made it black and white because of the violence and blood and also the kind of government and treatment they had like black and white...jews and germans..so if you're a jew..then they'll take you or kill you.....*black and white*....hope this helps though....Ã
