This is more of a psychological question than a sociological one.

Do you remember when these feeling first began? Was there a specific event that took place like an argument or a disagreement with someone?

It sounds like to me you are "hiding yourself from others" so to speak. You are setting up walls to protect you from what others might say or do to you. You say that you want to talk to other but somethings holding you back. That something sounds like fear.

Think back to when this first began, that way you can find the root of the problem and be better able to confront it.

I agree with the other answers, in part. There may have a trigger for your behavior or you could have just slid down the slippery slope of being on the computer, not dealing with your issues. Yes, we all have them. It is easier to be on the computer than to be with humans. With others, you have to think about all sorts of things: like, their feelings (computers don't have feelings), how to be intelligent, etc., etc. Anyway, there are a whole lot of reasons why being on the computer is easier than being with people. Computers are non-threatening. If you don't think that you are depressed or in need of psychological help, then break the cycle of computerism. Set time limits for yourself to be on the computer and then do something else. It is self-discipline, and only you can do. But, you can do it.

sounds like you are depressed. It would be good for you to find one person that you can open up to. For now, you'll have to force yourself to get off the computer, get out and do something. If you still can't then do seek some professional help.
