Lady is British pakastani. She is married with child but wants to divorce her husband. Legally she can do this but she fears her husband and family wouldn't accept her wishes and she'd either be taken to Pakistan or even killed. Her or child have not been physically harmed by husband and he obviously should have custody rights to see his child so if the lady just left and took their child this would be illegal. But if she doesn't it seems she either has to continue with a life she hates or risk the other consequences. What can she do. (She has tried for years to make her marriage work and can't)

Seek help from a domestic abuse agency. Her fears are well founded in this situation. Hopefully he will only get court supervised visits, which should be ordered if he is a flight risk.

First of all contact a good divorce Lawyer she must be told the full story, there will be help out there for those in real fear like this lady womens refuges etc

This story contradicts itself. Husband never has abused her or the child, but she could be killed by his family. Not even going to try and figure this one out.

If I was her I'd see a solicitor and advise him of the full situation, they would be the best people to advise. Or speak to the Citizens Advice as that's free.

divorce by women is possible if it is endorsed in the marriage contract .if not she can persue the matter legally to court.a british citizen though pakistani national should fear such insane

just move to another part of the country then get a divorce
