My brother is child free and relationship free and loves being single however there are times when he wishes he had someone to share his life with. When the time comes maybe you will know it. Enjoy being you.

I think there are people who are family orientated and others who are not. I also believe that either choice is fine however when u get into the area of hooking up with a girl and having a relationship it is always best to make sure to be upfront from the jump. This way no one come into the situation having misconceptions that one day u might change ur mind and if ur on the same page that' great.
But I do think it's completely normal to feel the way you do.

Yes, it is by choice that one wants kids or not. Having kids is a package deal. One could decide to bear the responsibilities and have kids, and enjoy a different kind of experience that comes with it, including all sorts of emotions, I am fortunate to have usually and mostly joyful/happy ones, that would follow. On the other hand, one could decide not to bear the responsibilities to have kid/kids and likely live to face loneliness in old age. All the best!

I would have to say that you are just who you are. There isn't a right way to be, and a wrong way to be as far as family orientation goes. There are quite a few people that I know personally that may want to be married, but don't necessarily want kids. And vice-versa. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

I was like you.I never wanted to be married. I just felt I had all I need. I didn't really want kid and all that. One day out of nowhere I changed. I just discovered that I don't bad kids. I may get closer to one wanting one, but not anytime soon. So, some people know from day one how they want their wedding and how many kids they want.

i can kinda relate, for as long as i can remember i have never wanted kids, and marriage well im still undecided at that. but oddly enough i am pretty close with my family, and i too dont really like to be alone. i think that if you dont want a kid, then dont feel out of place for not having one, its better to not have something you dont want. than to have something you rather not. esp.. when you have kids envolved its hard enough in the world for kids, then to make it harder for them by bringing them up in a world where you regret having them.
