I do agree, but there already was a national friends day- but it's not one of the "calender holidays" Its like "skateboarding day".

It would be a great idea. At work, we do a friend-day every Friday where we all go out the way to help each other and buy each other things like a donut or made tea for someone. It's a great happy environment too.

They have a Friends day in India. It's really nice, people (mainly teenage girls) send cards and buy gifts for their friends. I think it's a good idea but it could get a over-commercialised like valentines day.

Every day should be friends day, you don't need card companies to dictate a day and profit from us just to show your friends you care about them.
