Mom always told it like it was. But she had a special way of relating to me in seemingly every circumstance I encountered. Albeit harsh at times, it was always what I needed to hear.

Very often and I miss her so much. Mom had six daughters, three sons and made each of us feel like we were her favorite.

Not at all when I was younger....
