try using Boyle's Law, (P1)(V1) = (P2)(V2)
* P = pressure, V = volume of air
diagram 1 shows the amount of air (in the tube) due to air pressure.
diagram 2 shows the amount of air (in the tube) due to air pressure + the 76mmHg of mercury.
