this depends-how long do you have to be awake for?
do you have to drive?
if it won't hurt you to-stay home and sleep. you're putting yourself at risk by trying to keep your body up longer than it should be.
-you won't think clearly
-you compromise your immune system (leading you to get sick easier)
-your body will eventually force you to sleep with no warning
stay home especially if you have to drive-people falling asleep behind the wheel is at the top of the list for fatal or seriously injured people involved in car accidents.
if you don't have to drive and are only going to be awake for a few hours (4 max) then stay up, drink some coffee, take your class(es) and then come home and sleep
in the future-get yourself into a routine. go to bed at the same time each night and stay there no matter what (except when nature calls). keep a glass of water by your bed in case u get thirsty. you will eventually fall asleep. if you get up and move around-your body comes out of rest mode and it's harder to get back there.

brew strong coffee and let it cool while you perform "legs up the wall", a yoga maneuvre. (lay on floor with legs straight up a wall. relax and breathe. do NOT fall asleep that way. you'll die. just kidding but do NOT fall asleep.) now, you probably won't make it any longer than 20 minutes with your legs up the wall, but go an hour if you can. take short breaks and bring your legs to your chest if that helps. "Legs up the wall" forces blood into your upper body to help oxygenate it. For such a short amount of time, it is better than sleep. (because you don't need to wake back up) It actually is similar to sleep in that it restores your energy a bit. It may relax you enough to take a short nap. It's up to you whether or not you take that opportunity. But you have your coffee cooled and ready to chug.
Don't forget to take an ice cold shower, silly. It's your only hope. Are you even tough? You can warm up with hot shower before going cold. Go back and forth a few times if you want. But make sure to stand in frigid cold water for a good minute.
Good luck! You are a fool! You will succeed!

Unless you really need to be in class tomorrow, if I were you I'd take the day off sick. Reason? Insomnia.
And then find out what's keeping you awake (is it preventable? too much internet surfing, or coffee?) and change your lifestyle so you get enough sleep. Chronic lack of sleep will do wonderful things like make you depressed, gain weight, and get sick more often.

Well I hope your class isn't very long. You screwed up by staying up this late in the first place. Your best bet is to stay up, make it through class, come home and wait until about 8 to go to sleep. Drink soda or something with caffeine but make sure to eat so your not shaky.

Even if you can't go into a sleep state, it will help greatly to lay down with all things turned off and totally quiet and darkened, and just rest, this really is the next best thing to sleep state. the rest will help restore some energy. I have had many of these nites, they suck, sorry but the rest mode has helped. you'll sleep tommarrow nite for sure. ha ha

You should just stay up because if you go to bed and fall asleep you will want to continue to sleep when you wake up at 6. Just drink water and eat good and maybe have a cup of coffee or energy drink when you start to feel tired in the afternoon. (thats when you'll usually start to feel it)
