Yeah- you're a smart girl and can see through all the rubbish marketing and hype they use to try and trick young people into continuously buying.
Good for you- you clever thing!

More normal than it is for a 22 year old to ask that question at 4:15 in the morning.

It's neither normal or abnormal if that makes sense. Find your own style and fashion you like. I see people in Hippy style clothing that's "out of style" and I think they look great and individual.
Just wear what you like to wear. Sometimes you can't help but buy what's in style, like the low-rise 'hip huggers' that were in style in the early '70's- I had no choice on a shopping trip 2 years ago and bought some, now I hate ones that sit at the waist! Go Figure! I dress to be comfortable and Look nice and what I like, not what the fashion magazines predict or say you should wear.

maybe if said 22 year old strictly and religiously followed fashion trends and is sick and tired of not having own style but instead always adapting and keeping up with what magazines and the like tell us what is is.maybe said 22 year old can no longer keep up or is awakaned from the curse of being a fashion zombie that wears anything in style hideous or not. i am 22 and have my own favorites of todays trends. i also have staple picks that i can keep for about 4 years like plain tees, jeans, boots, chucks. i enjoy fashion and i incorporate pieces that i like with my staple items. i only buy a stylish trend if i like it. a lot of trends aren't even pretty. lucky for this generation ballet flats are cute. leggings however do not suit everyone and yet almost every girl at the mall is rocking them...get it?maybe because fashion today just doesn't suit everyone but everyone tries t keep up with it... and that when they design a piece they don't make it for sizes 14 and up...

Yes. I'm 22 and stopped caring about fashion when I was like 15.

Most fashions suit only the very skinny, tall and rich girls anyway. Far better to dress in clothes that suit your height, weight, body shape and colouring, rather than wasting money on clothes that will last just one season.

What's normal IS what's fashionable.
It's time to realise you're fed up of what's Normal...
