You need to consult your baby's pediatrician. I know it's frustrating and scary from a parent's perspective when your child (especially a baby) doesn't eat, however, force feeding him/her is only going to make it worse -- it will just turn him off of food more. Your best bet is try to get an appointment with the doctor as soon as possible. In the meantime, keep trying to feed your child every 2-3 hours to see if he will accept any sort of food at all. Wishing you the best ...

What you shouldn't do:
Don't feed him by force it won't help.
He might be coming down with something and that's why he doesn't want to eat or he could be going through a stage. Don't panic.
What you should do:
Keep offering him food at regular intervals if he doesn't want it, put it aside as if it doesn't concern you.
Keep offering him drinks even if its stuff you wouldn't normally give him like sweet juice/ice pops.
When he gets hungry he'll eat.
If you get really worried take him to the doctor. Even if it's for nothing at least you'll know it's nothing.

My nearly 11 month old son still isn't eating solids on a regular basis either. Babies, technically, don't NEED solids until they're a year old. Let your baby be your guide. (If he's growing well, seems alert and otherwise healthy... he should be fine) If he doesn't want to eat don't make him. You'll only make matters worse as he'll associate feeding time with stress instead of fun. Babies only need formula or breast milk, ideally, until their first birthdays. Solid foods are only for practice until then. And, PLEASE, don't starve your child for 7-8 hours to "keep him hungry" so that he'll eat. That's just wrong.
Best wishes.

are you letting snack alot during the day? I would recommend reserving eating to a strict routine for a while... meals at the same time and at the same place... no snacking between... and make sure it is fun and leave the stress out... that only makes it worse for him. Have you checked to make sure he doesnt have teeth coming in. That can make little ones' mouths hurt to the point of not eating for weeks. As long as he is thriving and gaining weight, i seriously wouldnt worry bout it. Make sure he doesnt have thrush in his little mouth, and make sure he isnt getting filled up on liquids, although he does need to continue to drink fluids. If he has had antibiotics recently, that could cause his appetite to be altered, also, if he is congested or stuffy, the draining and well... to be blunt... to be full of snot could be giving him a false sense of fullness. make sure that it is a relaxed atmosphere when time to eat, and after two or three meals of you not forcing him, he should do just fine. find his favorite food..like pancakes or peanut butter/karo syrup sandwiches, or chicken soup and fix that for him at each meal until he starts eating a little better on his own.

Try making something or buy something that you would eat yourself...my daughter didn't eat at all any jar food and my wife had to make every meal and seasoned them as if she would eat it.
But you know, it could be that your child is teething and any mouth activity can be painful. We also had our days where our daughter didn't eat anything because of teething discomfort...bascally we had to wait it out. Give some cold food, that should help a bit and ease a bit of the pain.

go to the doctor and asked them for advice. dont leave your baby hungry all day. he may just be a little slower than other babies,if he is not eating by himself. try feeding him something sweet and if he likes it maybe he will eat that.or he could just not be liking the food. but go to the doctor and they will be able to tell you the exact reason of why he is not eating like he is suppose to
