Sheesh... Can we switch? I would love to live in Japan...
But anyways, it depends on how old you are and what you are willing to do. In general, if you dont care what you do, you can get a job in an hour just about anywhere. But, if you are too old or have too much experience, nobody will hire you for what you are good at. It's some bad times here in the US for the job market.

If you're not picky and you are a good worker, you can get a job in one day. If you want a a job in a specific discipline it can take longer. I suggest you look online in the classifieds for the area you are going or look at hotjobs.com or monster.com and apply before you arrive. You can have interviews set up right away. Good luck.

My aunts and uncles stay in Kyushu, in Kagoshima-ken, and function seen no matters as a effect of the modern organic mess ups hitting Japan. they are asserting that is been non violent and prefer it there, and my relatives's modern pass to to Fukuoka replaced into very intense high quality. i assume those places could be an selection in case you stayed in Japan. even if, with a command of English, you will possibly desire to stay in any of the English conversing countries in Europe or the U. S.. My mom lives right here, in Texas, yet she replaced into born in Sasebo and grew up in Miyakonojo. we've chanced on that Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington have a extensive concentraion of Asians, somewhat jap, and we pass to those places in lots of situations. anyplace you pass, I want you luck.
