I'm not sure what you'd call this exactly but I want you to tell me if you think it's funny.
The greatest singer in the world was going to perform for us today. I decided to go and wait for her, I took some food and wine that hadn't been touched. I sat on the grass and awaited the Temptress. Eventually she came and proceeded to knock our ear drums out with a sound I shall at least dignify by likening it to a death's rattle. I have not gone to a Britney Spears concert since.

I think that's called having remarkably low expectations, only to find that they were way too high to begin with. Good luck. May I recommend some Janis Joplin... Billie Holiday... Jann Arden... Sarah McLachlan... k.d. lang...

Would you believe I have never heard her sing? Everybody bashes her but she seems to be very much in the spotlight ....I don't understand.
