I love to travel.but i get dizzy & vomit when i ride a bus, a boat or a plane. If this is a medical condition, what is it called & why does it happen? are there sure-fire ways to prevent air & sea-sickness? If possible, the natural way please (that is, without taking medicines). Thanks!!

Try Ginger in tablet form, can usually get it from the vitamin sections. Ginger is great for motion sickness. Take it before you begin travel

I don't know about the swelling, but sea sickness really depends on the person, there are many ways in which one can prevent it and/ or treat it for example probably the best in you case to try would be a motion sickness travel band it is simply a band you wear around your wrist and operates by using acupressure which is non chemical with no side effects, other wise there are many medications you can take to help.another idea is ginger lollies and sugar coated ginger depending if you are stopping in other countries as this may not go through quarantine but it is really good for nausea. have a good trip.

sure fire ways would be medication. natural way in effort to prevent it would be eating a lighter meal before long journeys, and avoid reading on the vehicle as it'll cause motion sickness. close your eyes and try to nap when you start feeling dizzy or queasy. :) hope this helps!

They make these bracelets for travel sickness, My daughter does that alot also (gets motion sickness).... I really don't know if there are any natural ways, I guess you could try to slow your breathing, and breath through your nose that might help or eat something salty. All of that helps her anyways.

HEY REV.

THERE REALLY IS NO CURE FOR AIR AND MOTION SICKNESS.

I WAS TOLD AT ONE TIME BY MY DOCTOR THAT IS ALSO CALLED VERTIGO AND MEDICINES IS THE ONLY WAY TO DEAL WITH IT.

ALSO STRESS CAN CAUSE IT THE BEST THING TO DO IS TRY NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE TIME AND THAT MAY HELP.

GOOD LUCK .
