I remember babysitting my niece and i got annoyed at Dina with her excessive "Dina wanna play Dina wanna play" I didn't like Telly too much with his excessive worrying although the character teaches children to solve problems and how worrying usually doesn't make sense. The only other I could think of is a puppet named Richard who got the most basic answers wrong such as "Where do apples come from?" "I don't know." "They come from trees. Where do eggs come from?" "They come from egg trees."

I personally think it is Elmo. He is so annoying the way he refers to himself in the third person. And his use of grammer...not exactly the skills I want my children to pick up!

Elmo love to play.
Elmo sorry.

Elmo need to go jump off cliff and die!

these are actually good characters the children do these things and can relate to these characters rather than have their feelings completely ignored by the adults who seem to rely rather heavily on television and video to sociallize their children and deal with their emotions as valid and encourage the expression of negativity in an effective manner rather than living up to their responsiblity as parents also richard,,I am not familiar with this but sounds as awesome as Mr. noodle who is awesome he also does everything wrong which is great, we see first hand and learn by his failures how to do something right as well as learn to see the humor in our everyday lives while learning that there is nothing to fear ,it is okay to do and learn and make mistakes or think for yourself being wrong is not the end of the world and we all still acccept you and care for you when you are wrong, oh the lessons in these charcters are so deep and the first five years are most important in the development of ones character and I would much rather my child be influenced by sesamae annoying characters and all than most other childrens tv show out there in our world

NO! Elmo is my chum :} i admire each and all of the sesame charactors :D yet i do form of locate the count variety stressful, purely because of the fact my little brother inpersonates him and his voice non cease (have faith me, waking as much as my bro speaking in his 'count variety' voice at 3am on a sunday isn't pleasent). haha, yet i went to a occasion on the weekend and desperate to shake it up somewhat :} each and all of the females have been in short skirts, bikinis, corsets, undies and so on, and that i went in a vast super poultry gown :D of direction i became deffinatly the centre of interest that night ;)

Elmo.

Of the older Muppet characters, Big Bird used to annoy me as a child. How he lacked the ability to get people to see Snuffy, I just don't know.
