Which musical artist from the year 2000 - the present do you believe has made the worst carrier move to date?

I never was a huge No Doubt fan but I'd have to say Gwen Stephani...she went from having a huge following to recording 2...yes 2 horrific sounding pop / so called "rap" albums. Garbage...my ears are still bleeding from Rich Girl, Holla Back Girl and Wind it Up as well as Cool.

Guns and Roses started out in the 80's. Where have you been living? Under a rock?

Just my personal opinion, I guess its not a terrible career move, but Tom Delonge pissed me off when he left blink for that terrible A&A band. I saw them at a festival and couldn't believe Tom gave up blink for acid. And he wants to "change the world with his band?" C'mon. Meanwhile, Mark and Travis are still having a good time, and Tom is completely full of himself and has lost an entire legion of loyal fans. And A&A will never be as big as blink. I didn't even like blink 182 that much, but at least they were twenty times more entertaining than Tom's acid trip of a band.

Guns and Roses, the famous band you never heard:

I would say Guns and Roses, sure the name is old, but most of the band is new and ever changing (strike one). Chinese Democracy? I think the tracks were all pirated and would be the first recording that was over played and considered old news by the fans before the recording was even released (strike 2). I think Guns and Roses was trying to make a come back (hard to do with a whole new line up except Axel, maybe it should be called an Axel come back instead), but Axel still seems to have trouble finding his concerts (a big reason the old Guns and Roses collapsed) (strike 3). So it's an "active band" (as opposed to a band that split up), has a recording that they refuse to release and they don't play live.
