I' am kind of worried whether or not college's will take me. My ACT score is in the 50th percentile. Also I take AP Calculus, AP Art History and AP Govt.. What does this mean? My highest scores were in math and science..

The ACT is a more subject inclusive test than the SAT. Colleges know that 1 or 2 bad scores can skew the cumulative result. They are looking at your individual scores as well, especially the ones related to your announced major of choice.

When I went to college, my History ACT score dropped my cumulative score significantly. Majoring in Chemistry _PreMed, they didn't penalize me or limit my scholarship options.

Good Luck in college!

It relies upon on the college you desire to pass to. some colleges require you to the standard freshman admission besides as deliver on your college transcripts, while others will purely desire a school cumulative GPA of despite it incredibly is they desire (frequently from 2.0-3.0), and the quantity of credit hours to be a pass student and you're reliable. different places require you to have a undeniable volume of credit accomplished till you may now bypass over the ordinary admissions technique. So i'd look into that. As a student making plans on moving this Spring 2012, i desperate to prepare to high schools that purely required me to deliver in my college transcript. i grew to become right into a late bloomer (nicely i'm purely 19 yet all people expects you to understand what you desire to do and be doing nicely in college at 14 which I wasn't), Heck, I even tousled my freshman 12 months of faculty. actually with a three.89 GPA and 31 ACT, you will probable get right into a great array of great colleges. ANY reliable college, no. All reliable colleges have their very own unique standards. i ask your self the place you reside that a 31 ACT and 3.89 is "purely reliable." California? LOL

Take the ACT again. And again. And again, if necessary.

Is it possible you were sick or somehow distracted when you took it? That is a low ACT score to have with such a high GPA.

You might also want to talk with your academic advisor (or equivalent).

I don't know the ACT, so I can't help you there, but I think a decent school will want you. Maybe not Harvard or Stanford, but you will do all right.
