I'm naming my baby girl some variation of Kamea. You pronounce it like "Kamaya" but I don't want to spell it that way. Soooo, which way looks best in your opinion?? Which way would prompt you to say it the correct way?

Kamea, Kameia (like Princess Leia!), Kameya all look like ka-MAY-uh to me. Kameah looks like ka-MEE-uh, and Kamaea just looks weird and difficult.
I suggest you spell it with a C because invented or unfamiliar names spelled with K remind me of childish misspellings of C words - like Keystone Kops or Kwik Kar. And I'm probably not the only one. Cameia looks nice, elegant and slightly exotic, and will seem grown up when she is.

Kamaya is the only spelling that would prompt me to pronounce it correctly. Kameia would work too for anyone that speaks German.
Kamea is the prettiest.

Sorry, but the only one that prompted me to say it that way was Kamaya. The rest make me say Kam - e - a. Kamaea ounds like Kam -a - e -a.
