Who are the leading jewelry designers in North America.?

I will appreciate it, if somebody that is into fashion , vintage and classical jewelry, can give me some directions as to who are the leading designers of jewelry.

neil lane and harry winston are what celebs wear they have classic elegance and glam looks. i don't know who designs for cartier but they have good pieces too. so does tiffany's. also there is this jeweler in new york called graff and they specialize in diamonds.
