They are much better with him, but I think they are used to playing without him. Since he left Detroit to come to the Magic, has he ever been healthy for any long stretch of time?
Remember when people said he was the next Michael Jordan?
Remember his great years at Duke?
What NBA team wouldn't better with a player like that? But you gotta play with what you got and they got Dwight Howard who is awesome, young and healthy.
Its probably time that the Magic move on without him, they did fine after they dumped Steve Francis & T-Mac, they'll be fine without Grant, not better, just fine.

They are better without. Sure, he can score, but as much as they are paying him, they can take that cap room and invest in someone who isn't 95 years old and someone that is going to stay healthy. Also, JJ Reddick and Travis Diener are WAY OVERRATED. Look at the hype around Mike Dunleavy when he entered the league. Now he isn't doin' anything. Same with those two. They can hit the long ball, but they have no defense, no passing ability, no rebounds. They are investing in one thing only, and that's the long ball. They need to get an all around player. Andrew DeClercq is their best player.

it somewhat is distinctly no longer common to foretell the playoffs in basic terms a month into the NBA season. yet you seem to have performed it. curiously Orlando is an surprising team impulsively regardless of out playoff adventure and while they place self belief in the wear riddled legs of furnish Hill. are not getting me incorrect, i like furnish Hill, even yet it somewhat is extremely early interior the season. there's no e book on how Darko will handle enjoying huge minutes for a complete NBA season. Jameer Nelson and Carlos Arroyo are ok, yet how will they matchup against the greater matured guards interior the east, like Chauncey Billups and Jason Kidd? Dwight Howard is fantastic, yet can he shoulder the burden? i think of that communities like Detroit and New Jersey would be waiting to maintain them from making a deep playoff run.

they need him in the locker room if not on the court... they're very young and the experience he brings to the table is invaluable
and there's no way Andrew DeClercq is better than Dwight Howard, that's a fact
