Is it normal if I think that if I put a hole through the wood, That there may be little elfs and fairys down there, Ready to greet me with popcorn and treats?

Sure if I can have my fairy neighboor and his elf boyfriend come over and give me candy for Xmas then it's possible for you to have elves and fairys under your floor! I'm not sure what type of treats they will have though?

I don't think that there are any elfs what greet you with treats. More possible is that your landlord will greet you with a fat bill for the repair of the floor.

No it is not "normal" to think that way.
It is cute to believe in fairies and wee elves but they probably dont live there. They probably have prettier places to live in.
Popcorn and treats are too fattening and they are all slim and trim. You have to, can you imagine how many calories are in one single popcorn? Eating that huge kernel for someone too tiny- they would go "blimp" after just one.
