Personally, Alienware is overpriced Dell now. I would honestly say the best brand of computer is one that you would build yourself. Most computers you buy from the store have junk parts inside. As for your computer, I am guessing you have a Compaq.

But you might consider assemble your own computer 'coz it's cheaper and you can upgrade whenever you want.
