When I was growing up my family's idea of humor (humour...for you Canadian/English types) was a TV show called "Hee Haw" (a variety show in the 70's that featured southern-fried rednecks singing and telling really really bad jokes), being the snob I am, I never found that drivel funny. So I acquired my own sense of humor and as a kid I weened myself on British sitcoms...primarily, "Fawlty Towers" and "Monty Python"...so my sense of humor developed into something that is usually pretty dark, caustic, cynical, absurd, self-effacing all wrapped up in a bustier and fishnets....with some Krispy Kreme glaze on the side.

My favourite joke: What's gray? Answer: A melted penguin.
Most would say that it is more a matter of needing to remove the nasty taste from their mouths.

I don't think so. Most people who know me or meet me for the first time, especially at parties, think I'm just a barrel of monkeys and love to party with me. :P
