I was thinking about this because i don't and i don't understand how some people could like it.
Don't you feel confined?
Don't your toes want to breathe?

I like them in winter when my feet get cold but I much prefer to be barefoot (unless outside outside in the streets of course!). My absolute favorite feeling in the whole world is barefeet at the beach.

In the warm months, I far prefer being barefoot, because, yes, my toes want to breathe. In the cold months, however, if I wear socks I prefer wearing "fun" socks -- they are made of a lighter material than regular socks (usually), and they fit very closely to your foot, so there's not extra fabric flapping about in the metaphorical breeze. They keep your toesies a bit warmer and it doesn't really feel like you're wearing socks! It's very nice. Plus my feet are very ticklish, and the close-fitting nature of fun socks provides a bit of protection from random tickly things.

I can't stand wearing socks either, I go barefoot as often as possible! When I do have to wear socks, I wear plain white running socks most of the time, but I do have some fun socks too. I suppose I'm just pretty picky overall when it comes to my feet, but ultimately I like being barefoot. I love my feet! :)

LOL well I'm a bare foot kind of girl. I would walk out side, play basket ball in the street, and walk around on hot or cold cement bare foot and my mom would always yell at me and tell me to wear shoes or socks. but as I'm getting older *17, I sound 98* but as I get older I just have to have socks on, my feet get cold easily and then if my feet get cold then my whole body gets cold and I'm no fun to be around.

It has been pretty cold here the past few weeks, so yes, I like to wear socks in the house to keep my feet warm. And I must wear socks with my tennis shoes ... I can't STAND wearing those w/o socks! :)

I love wearing socks. I buy huge 24 packs about once a month. You can really only wear, and wash them a couple of times before they start to get loose. That is why I always buy lots so they always are clean and snug.

I like the feeling of new socks. The ones with the extra padding on the bottom. I only like them though when it is cold. If it's warm flip flops for me only.

I agree, I like my feet to be free too! I've been completely barefoot for ten years, no socks or shoes. But if you don't want to go that far, sandals are best, at least your feet can breathe that way.

I truly dislike wearing socks. Especially inside boots. My feet feel too... full (?) Kind of difficult to describe.
If I only lived in a southern clime... ahhhh... sandals all the time...

I don't like to wear shoes or sox, but when I go out I wear shoes and if my feet are cold, I put on sox. Yes, it makes my feet feel confined, claustrophobic.
