When I go on websites, the video/audio content isn't displayed--there is just an empty space with a small, red X in the upper left corner. I don't know if this is caused by my virus protection...I also had trouble with my adobe flash component closing the ie7, so I disable it after trying the newer version (which also did not work). Not sure what to do...kept searching around, but I do not even know how to effectively describe this problem. Maybe you can help ;)

for one, IE sucks. i would get firefox: http://www.getfirefox.com
after that, load the latest flash player: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW
after that, get the latest java: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
should work with firefox, and might fix your problems with IE. would help if we knew what websites you were trying to watch videos on, if its youtube you need one of the latest flash players, and you need it to be working and not disabled :p

im guessing that its your flash plugin thats not installed correctly and is crashing your ie7. if i was on my other computer with ie7 ryte now, i would b able to tell u exactly what to do. but n e wayz... find the option in your internet explorer that allows you to view / manage add-ons. delete all the add-ons that have anything to do with macromeda/flash. its a possibility that you might find one that says "status - damaged" or something like that. remove it. go to macromedia.com and reinstall the flash player.

well try downlaoding java or something or try wipping your computer either by taking it to be looked at or doing it yourself
