I was going to buy a obd II code reader but I didn't see my trailblazer on the list of compliant cars. HELP!!!

Yes, I don't have a code reader, but I have the same model and I know it's OBD II. You can verify this with the dealer, but OBD II has been around for many years.

Yes it is. All vehicles made from 1996 to present date are OBD compliant.

yes it is but you need a CAN capable reader to properly pull codes/check data. It must be CAN protocol enabled (a type of databus transmission standard to communicate at high a speed/rate with the ecu) or you'll waste money. check ebay for some examples on what to look for.
