Too eerie. I was just talking to someone about this last night! I've had the same "wish" for ages now.
Actually, I want my ashes to be used in a practical joke:
Basically, I want my ashes put into the ventilation/air conditioning system of a loved ones car. Obviously this person has to be someone I love a great deal (and who can take a joke...that's paramount)....because when they turn on their car...POOF...I appear in a cloud of smoke and hopefully some remaining dental debris of some kind.
Can you just image the look on their face? Now that's almost worth coming back from the dead to see.

I do plan to be cremated, but I'm not sure about where to scatter the ashes, just as long as they're not in a jar or box on someone's mantle.

I want to be cremated; scatter my ashes out across the Pacific Ocean; my best friend has the rest of my wishes written down, I sent them to him.

Thats my preferences..Its tradition here to do it off of Catalina Island in California. Thats where a few of my family members have been scattered including my mom.
I don't believe in burials they are more for the person living than for the dead.

Uh ... would it be too much to ask if I wanted them scattered in Rome? OK, fine. Then I'll settle for the good ol' San Francisco Bay. :)
