where do you go to Authenticate an autograph?

Dwayne wade threw out an autographed shoe during "hoops for troops" in korea, and I have no idea how I am supposed to authenticate it.

There are national shows where authenticators do that on the spot.............Companies like PSA let you mail the item in and will authenticate it for you..........It's costly either way, by mail or in person...........At shows, PSA aren't the only authenticators there and you will have a choice of whom to go to with your item for authentication........It's always safer in person than by mail (no risk of the item getting lost) but you can check either the internet or a price guide, like Tuff Stuff, to see when a large show like that is in an area you can get to...........You could probably do a Google search for authenticators and that might help.......Also try Steiner Sports and see if they will authenticate for you........Right now, with a Steiner Certificate of Authenticity an item is as good as gold in the autograph world..........They have a website as well.....
