Hard to beat the 85 orange bowl between the husker's and Miami then you have the hail pass Doug flutie threw, the Stanford band game. Not good enough to crack that top three list.

it was a great game, but people have such short memories cause the best game is still last year's rose bowl between texas and usc. no matter what boise state vs ou will never be as good cause at the end of the day they were just playing for the fiesta bowl and not the national championship. and i do believe seeing vince young throw and run for over 200 yards and driving down the field scoring on fourth down to win the game was still the most impressive thing i've ever seen in college football, not a lucky game by boise state.

Best game ever? No not best Football game ever. It was a good game though yeah. Oh and the idea it has to be for the title to be the best game is BS to me. Take last year's NFL Playoffs. The best game in the Playoffs was the Steelers at Colts. Wasn't for the Confrence Title, wasn't the Superbowl. It really didn't get you anything but in the Confrence title. Yet it was the BEST GAME last year. It was better then the Superbowl, and they were PLAYING for the NFL Title. Yeah that game with less meaning CAN be better. Although if the BS(oh wait there is a C in there) would switch to a Playoff then we would see who REALLY deserves the Title.

I didnt see the boise st game live but i watched the highlights, and as far as college bowl games go, that is by far the best game i have seen. I am 24 and a big gator fan, and i love the trick plays and the colors. Can I get a playoff system already!!!!

people must not remember the 2002 fiesta bowl which was for the national title, also last years rose bowl, and the rose bowl before that, also the 1983 orange bowl for the national title, those games were for much higher stakes and just as good

Has to be one of the best. There were probably better games when you look at all 60 minutes played. But this was the best final 3 minutes plus O.T. that I have ever seen.

Even though the Sooners lost, it was still the best football game, pro or college, I have ever seen.
