I don't want to live with her because I'm afraid it would put a damper on our friendship.. plus she has a ONE year old kid and I have a drinking problem. She doesn't really have many friends besides me so I don't know who else she would live with. What's the best way to tell her NO??

Tell her the truth: You feel that your lifestyles are incompatible, and you don't want to risk your friendship by having conflicts about the hours you keep, etc.

If you want to keep her as a friend...dont live together..Tell her your not looking for a roomate.. or that youd rather live alone. Plus if that doesnt work tell her with your drinking and her kid you dont think thats a good mix...Babies shouldnt be around that
