so spotting and bloating...?

really means i need immediate medical attention? Im worried and confused. I though spotting and bloating could be a common side effect of b.c.....

Call the clinic and see if you can speak to a nurse on the phone. She/he will advise you if you need to be seen by a doctor, and how urgent it is if at all.

I really think you need to read ALL the information about your pills.....because those are common side effects of pills. However, there are some other things that if you experience you need to go to an ER!

I've been on my pills for over a year now, and I've had bloating and spotting as a side effect...what i would do if your still worried, just call your advice nurse, and tell her what your on, for how long, and what's going on. :)

Whoever told you that you need immediate medical attention is an idiot who should have just skipped your question, because the only thing that they've managed to do is make themselves dumber and scare the hell out of you.

It is a common side effect. I've had it with three out of five of the birth control pills that I have taken.

If you're still nervous, call your OB/GYN tomorrow morning. They will, no doubt, tell you what I'm telling you now.

You can spot if pregnant, this is very common when the fertilized egg is implanting to the uterus. Bloating can also be a side effect of pregnancy, but not always. If you are pregnant you need to report any spotting or unusual swelling right away.
